## How to manage multiple Facebook Pages

Run every Page from your one Facebook account. On Facebook you switch into a Page from your profile picture under See all profiles; for several business Pages, add them to a business portfolio and work in Meta Business Suite, which puts their posts, inboxes and insights in one place.

You manage multiple Facebook Pages from one Facebook account, yours. Facebook's terms allow one personal account per person ([Facebook Terms, 3.1](https://www.facebook.com/terms/), read 2 November 2026), and Pages were built to sit under it: you create them, switch into them and hand out access from the same login. Mosaic keeps accounts you are entitled to run apart; it does not change what a platform allows, and for Pages you do not need a second account at all.

There are two places to do the work. Facebook itself is fine for two or three Pages. Meta Business Suite is better from about the point where you lose track of which Page you are posting as.

## On Facebook: switch into each Page

Meta's help page gives the steps ([Switch into your Facebook Page](https://www.facebook.com/help/123930246348340), read 2 November 2026):

1. Log into Facebook and click your profile photo in the top right.
2. Click **See all profiles**, then select the Page.
3. You land in the Page's Feed. Anything you like, comment or follow from here is done as the Page.
4. To go back, click the Page photo at the top right, then **See all profiles**, and pick your profile.

The page says the point of switching is to "keep your Page activity separate from your personal profile activity". It also only works if you have **Facebook access** to the Page, which matters once other people are involved.

## How to manage multiple Facebook Pages in Meta Business Suite

Business Suite is free, on desktop and in its mobile app, and needs the Pages to be in a business portfolio ([How Meta Business Suite works](https://www.facebook.com/business/help/205614130852988), read 2 November 2026). What changes when you move there:

- **Planner.** Create, schedule and manage Facebook and Instagram posts, and see them on a calendar.
- **Inbox.** Messages and comments from the Facebook Page, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp Business in one inbox, with automations for common questions.
- **Insights.** Performance and audience numbers per Page.
- **All tools.** Ads Manager, Business Support Home, Billing & payments and Page settings, from the same menu.

For a business, Meta's own advice is that Pages representing it "should be added to your business portfolio", and that an Instagram business account linked to a Page should be owned by the same portfolio ([Best practices for Page management](https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2406437459411127), read 2 November 2026). A Page's transparency section can show the business that owns it, so getting the owner right is visible to the public.

## Who else can manage your Pages

Somebody else will usually help with at least one Page. Meta has two kinds of access, and choosing wrong is how people lose their Pages ([Page access](https://www.facebook.com/help/289207354498410), read 2 November 2026).

| | Facebook access | Task access |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Switch into the Page on Facebook | Yes | No |
| Works in Business Suite and Ads Manager | Yes | Yes |
| Posts, messages, comments, ads, insights | Yes | Yes |
| Settings and other people's access | Only with full control | No |

Full control is the one to hand out sparingly. Meta's page warns that "giving Facebook access with full control to others gives them the same access as you", including the power to "remove anyone from the Page (including you), or delete the Page". Give partial control or task access unless the person really runs the Page.

The same page has a rule people meet by accident: a Page "must have at least one person with Facebook access with full control". If the last one leaves, the Page "will be automatically deactivated and scheduled for deletion". Keep two people with full control on every Page you care about.

Inside a business portfolio the access screens are different. Someone with full control of the portfolio assigns Pages under **Settings** › **People**, picks the person, clicks **Assign assets**, chooses the Pages and sets partial access or full control ([Assign Pages to people](https://www.facebook.com/business/help/166896210924641), read 2 November 2026).

## Pages that belong to clients

If you manage Pages for other businesses, they should stay in the client's portfolio, with your agency added as a partner. That keeps the Page and its history with the client when the work ends. The request from your side, including the shorter route for a single Page, is in [how to add a client to Facebook Business Manager](https://mosaicbrowser.com/guides/add-a-client-to-facebook-business-manager).

## Where a separate browser comes in

For the Pages themselves, Meta's tools are enough, and we would not put a Page in its own browser. A social media manager's day has other logins in it, though: the client's scheduling tool, its Canva or Shopify account, its analytics, its email. Those have no Page-style switcher, and in one browser they share cookies.

We make Mosaic, which gives each of those logins its own profile, with its own cookies, fingerprint and proxy, grouped in a project per client. Your Facebook account stays in one profile of its own, and all your Pages are reached from there.

## Questions

### Do I need a separate Facebook account for each Page?

No. Pages are created and run from your personal account, and Facebook's terms allow one personal account per person. One account can manage as many Pages as it has access to.

### What is the difference between Facebook access and task access?

Facebook access lets someone switch into the Page and manage it on Facebook, with full or partial control. Task access works only through tools such as Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, and cannot switch into the Page.

### What happens if nobody has full control of a Page?

Meta says a Page must have at least one person with Facebook access and full control. If nobody does, the Page is automatically deactivated and scheduled for deletion.

### Can I reply to messages from several Pages in one place?

Yes. Meta Business Suite's Inbox shows messages and comments from your Facebook Page, Messenger, Instagram account and WhatsApp Business account together, for the Pages in a portfolio.
