## ABCProxy proxies in Mosaic: one line, an exit per profile

Paste an ABCProxy proxy or gateway line onto a profile in Mosaic; Mosaic checks that it answers and tunnels before the browser opens, and sets the profile's timezone and language to the exit.

We make Mosaic, the local-first anti-detect browser; ABCProxy is a proxy seller you bring your own account to. This page is the setup, not a review of ABCProxy's network.

An ABCProxy account is a username, a password and a gateway host. Mosaic reads ABCProxy's gateway line from the seller's own documentation, so the parts of the line, including where the options sit and what a session id looks like, are read straight from what you paste.

## Connect ABCProxy to Mosaic

1. In ABCProxy's dashboard, copy the gateway line for the pool you want, with your username and password in it.
2. In Mosaic, open a profile's proxy field, or the Proxies screen, and paste the line. Mosaic detects it as ABCProxy and saves it as a [provider](https://mosaicbrowser.com/features/proxy-providers) you can reuse.
3. Attach the ABCProxy line to each profile. Mosaic checks the exit it reaches before the browser opens.
4. Press Start. Mosaic checks the proxy before every launch and will not open the browser until ABCProxy has answered and tunnelled, so a dead proxy never leaks your own address.

ABCProxy's line has no session token Mosaic reads, so profiles share its rotation unless you paste one of ABCProxy's own sticky endpoints. If an ABCProxy endpoint stops answering, the launch stops and names what failed, so you fix the line rather than browse on your own IP.

## What you can set per profile with ABCProxy

ABCProxy's line carries the exit country, so those are what Mosaic lets you choose per profile. Pick country in ABCProxy's own words, and the exit matches. A pick ABCProxy has no word for is refused by name, because a token a gateway silently ignores would put the profile somewhere else without telling you. The words Mosaic does not recognise still survive, because the line is copied rather than rebuilt, so an option ABCProxy added that Mosaic has never seen still reaches the exit.

## What Mosaic does with the ABCProxy exit

Once an ABCProxy proxy is checked, Mosaic reads the public address and city it comes out at and matches the profile to it: the timezone, the languages and the geolocation are set from the exit, not from the proxy's label. Mosaic also stops WebRTC from going around the ABCProxy proxy, so a page cannot read your real address that way. The authentication runs through a local relay, so an ABCProxy login works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, including SOCKS5 with a username and password, which Chrome cannot log in to on its own.

## The honest limits

Mosaic does not sell proxies or proxy traffic; the ABCProxy bill is between you and ABCProxy. Mosaic reads ABCProxy's format from the published documentation and has not run it against a live ABCProxy account, so the row shows an untested badge; the format may be out of date if ABCProxy has changed it. Whether to run several accounts on ABCProxy exits is the platform's rule, not ours: Mosaic keeps accounts you are entitled to run apart, and does not change what a site allows.

If you are still choosing a seller, the [proxies worth using with an anti-detect browser](https://mosaicbrowser.com/compare/best-proxies-for-anti-detect-browsers) sets out what to look for, and [rotating against sticky sessions](https://mosaicbrowser.com/guides/rotating-vs-sticky-proxies) explains which kind each job wants. Mosaic Pro is $49 a month for any number of profiles, with the first 14 days free, and [Free holds 3 profiles](https://mosaicbrowser.com/pricing).

## Questions

### Does Mosaic sell ABCProxy proxies?

No. Mosaic reads the gateway line from your own ABCProxy account; you buy the proxies from ABCProxy. Mosaic does not resell proxy traffic.

### Can each profile get its own ABCProxy exit?

Mosaic reads no session token in ABCProxy's line, so it cannot pin one exit per profile from it. Paste a sticky endpoint from ABCProxy if you need an exit to stay put for a profile.

### Can I choose the ABCProxy exit country per profile?

Yes, where ABCProxy's line format has a word for it. Mosaic reads country from the line and lets you set it per profile; a pick ABCProxy cannot spell is refused by name, never dropped.

### Has Mosaic tested ABCProxy?

The ABCProxy format comes from ABCProxy's own documentation, not a live run, so the row carries an untested badge in Mosaic. Mosaic still checks every ABCProxy proxy before a profile opens.
