## DataImpulse proxies in Mosaic: one line, an exit per profile

Paste a DataImpulse proxy or gateway line onto a profile in Mosaic; Mosaic checks that it answers and tunnels before the browser opens, and sets the profile's timezone and language to the exit.

We make Mosaic, the local-first anti-detect browser; DataImpulse is a proxy seller you bring your own account to. This page is the setup, not a review of DataImpulse's network.

You bring a DataImpulse account; Mosaic brings the browser. Mosaic read DataImpulse's gateway line from a real account, so the line you copy from DataImpulse is kept as a template, and the targeting and session tokens are read from it rather than guessed.

DataImpulse carries the exit country as a nested token on the username, which Mosaic reads and sets per profile.

## Connect DataImpulse to Mosaic

1. In DataImpulse's dashboard, copy the gateway line for the pool you want, with your username and password in it.
2. In Mosaic, open a profile's proxy field, or the Proxies screen, and paste the line. Mosaic detects it as DataImpulse and saves it as a [provider](https://mosaicbrowser.com/features/proxy-providers) you can reuse.
3. Attach the DataImpulse line to each profile. Mosaic checks the exit it reaches before the browser opens.
4. Press Start. Mosaic checks the proxy before every launch and will not open the browser until DataImpulse has answered and tunnelled, so a dead proxy never leaks your own address.

DataImpulse's line has no session token Mosaic reads, so profiles share its rotation unless you paste one of DataImpulse's own sticky endpoints. If a DataImpulse endpoint stops answering, the launch stops and names what failed, so you fix the line rather than browse on your own IP.

## What you can set per profile with DataImpulse

DataImpulse's line carries the exit country, so those are what Mosaic lets you choose per profile. Pick country in DataImpulse's own words, and the exit matches. A pick DataImpulse has no word for is refused by name, because a token a gateway silently ignores would put the profile somewhere else without telling you. The words Mosaic does not recognise still survive, because the line is copied rather than rebuilt, so an option DataImpulse added that Mosaic has never seen still reaches the exit.

## What Mosaic does with the DataImpulse exit

Once a DataImpulse proxy is checked, Mosaic reads the public address and city it comes out at and matches the profile to it: the timezone, the languages and the geolocation are set from the exit, not from the proxy's label. Mosaic also stops WebRTC from going around the DataImpulse proxy, so a page cannot read your real address that way. The authentication runs through a local relay, so a DataImpulse login works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, including SOCKS5 with a username and password, which Chrome cannot log in to on its own.

## The honest limits

Mosaic does not sell proxies or proxy traffic; the DataImpulse bill is between you and DataImpulse. Mosaic read DataImpulse's format from a real line, but a proxy pool still changes under you, which is why every DataImpulse proxy is checked again before each launch. Whether to run several accounts on DataImpulse exits is the platform's rule, not ours: Mosaic keeps accounts you are entitled to run apart, and does not change what a site allows.

If you are still choosing a seller, the [proxies worth using with an anti-detect browser](https://mosaicbrowser.com/compare/best-proxies-for-anti-detect-browsers) sets out what to look for, and [rotating against sticky sessions](https://mosaicbrowser.com/guides/rotating-vs-sticky-proxies) explains which kind each job wants. Mosaic Pro is $49 a month for any number of profiles, with the first 14 days free, and [Free holds 3 profiles](https://mosaicbrowser.com/pricing).

## Questions

### Does Mosaic sell DataImpulse proxies?

No. Mosaic reads the gateway line from your own DataImpulse account; you buy the proxies from DataImpulse. Mosaic does not resell proxy traffic.

### Can each profile get its own DataImpulse exit?

Mosaic reads no session token in DataImpulse's line, so it cannot pin one exit per profile from it. Paste a sticky endpoint from DataImpulse if you need an exit to stay put for a profile.

### Can I choose the DataImpulse exit country per profile?

Yes, where DataImpulse's line format has a word for it. Mosaic reads country from the line and lets you set it per profile; a pick DataImpulse cannot spell is refused by name, never dropped.

### Is the DataImpulse format tested?

Mosaic read DataImpulse's line format from a real account, so the separator and session shape match what DataImpulse hands out. Proxy pools still change; a proxy is always checked before launch.
