## Proxy-Cheap proxies in Mosaic: one line, an exit per profile

Paste your Proxy-Cheap gateway line into Mosaic once; Mosaic keeps it as a provider and mints a new Proxy-Cheap session for each profile, so forty profiles get forty exits from one line.

We make Mosaic, the local-first anti-detect browser; Proxy-Cheap is a proxy seller you bring your own account to. This page is the setup, not a review of Proxy-Cheap's network.

A Proxy-Cheap account is a username, a password and a gateway host. Mosaic reads Proxy-Cheap's gateway line from the seller's own documentation, so the parts of the line, including where the options sit and what a session id looks like, are read straight from what you paste.

## Connect Proxy-Cheap to Mosaic

1. In Proxy-Cheap's dashboard, copy the gateway line for the pool you want, with your username and password in it.
2. In Mosaic, open a profile's proxy field, or the Proxies screen, and paste the line. Mosaic detects it as Proxy-Cheap and saves it as a [provider](https://mosaicbrowser.com/features/proxy-providers) you can reuse.
3. Create profiles from the provider. Each one mints its own Proxy-Cheap session, so each profile browses from a different exit.
4. Press Start. Mosaic checks the proxy before every launch and will not open the browser until Proxy-Cheap has answered and tunnelled, so a dead proxy never leaks your own address.

Proxy-Cheap carries a session id Mosaic recognises, so each profile mints its own session and holds its own exit. A Proxy-Cheap session that answers but reaches nothing is swapped for a fresh one rather than retried, because a residential session that is dead stays dead for every attempt on the same token.

## What you can set per profile with Proxy-Cheap

Proxy-Cheap's line carries the exit country, a city, a sticky session id and how long a session holds, so those are what Mosaic lets you choose per profile. Pick country and city in Proxy-Cheap's own words, and the exit matches. A pick Proxy-Cheap has no word for is refused by name, because a token a gateway silently ignores would put the profile somewhere else without telling you. The words Mosaic does not recognise still survive, because the line is copied rather than rebuilt, so an option Proxy-Cheap added that Mosaic has never seen still reaches the exit.

## What Mosaic does with the Proxy-Cheap exit

Once a Proxy-Cheap proxy is checked, Mosaic reads the public address and city it comes out at and matches the profile to it: the timezone, the languages and the geolocation are set from the exit, not from the proxy's label. Mosaic also stops WebRTC from going around the Proxy-Cheap proxy, so a page cannot read your real address that way. The authentication runs through a local relay, so a Proxy-Cheap login works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, including SOCKS5 with a username and password, which Chrome cannot log in to on its own.

## The honest limits

Mosaic does not sell proxies or proxy traffic; the Proxy-Cheap bill is between you and Proxy-Cheap. Mosaic reads Proxy-Cheap's format from the published documentation and has not run it against a live Proxy-Cheap account, so the row shows an untested badge; the format may be out of date if Proxy-Cheap has changed it. Whether to run several accounts on Proxy-Cheap exits is the platform's rule, not ours: Mosaic keeps accounts you are entitled to run apart, and does not change what a site allows.

If you are still choosing a seller, the [proxies worth using with an anti-detect browser](https://mosaicbrowser.com/compare/best-proxies-for-anti-detect-browsers) sets out what to look for, and [rotating against sticky sessions](https://mosaicbrowser.com/guides/rotating-vs-sticky-proxies) explains which kind each job wants. Mosaic Pro is $49 a month for any number of profiles, with the first 14 days free, and [Free holds 3 profiles](https://mosaicbrowser.com/pricing).

## Questions

### Does Mosaic sell Proxy-Cheap proxies?

No. Mosaic reads the gateway line from your own Proxy-Cheap account; you buy the proxies from Proxy-Cheap. Mosaic does not resell proxy traffic.

### Will two profiles share a Proxy-Cheap exit?

Not by accident. Mosaic mints a separate Proxy-Cheap session id for every profile, and a different session id is a different exit. A session you pin by hand is left alone.

### Can I choose the Proxy-Cheap exit country per profile?

Yes, where Proxy-Cheap's line format has a word for it. Mosaic reads country and city from the line and lets you set it per profile; a pick Proxy-Cheap cannot spell is refused by name, never dropped.

### Has Mosaic tested Proxy-Cheap?

The Proxy-Cheap format comes from Proxy-Cheap's own documentation, not a live run, so the row carries an untested badge in Mosaic. Mosaic still checks every Proxy-Cheap proxy before a profile opens.
