## How to use ProxyRack with Mosaic

Paste a ProxyRack proxy or gateway line onto a profile in Mosaic; Mosaic checks that it answers and tunnels before the browser opens, and sets the profile's timezone and language to the exit.

We make Mosaic, the local-first anti-detect browser; ProxyRack is a proxy seller you bring your own account to. This page is the setup, not a review of ProxyRack's network.

A ProxyRack account is a username, a password and a gateway host. Mosaic reads ProxyRack's gateway line from the seller's own documentation, so the parts of the line, including where the options sit and what a session id looks like, are read straight from what you paste.

## Connect ProxyRack to Mosaic

1. In ProxyRack's dashboard, copy the gateway line for the pool you want, with your username and password in it.
2. In Mosaic, open a profile's proxy field, or the Proxies screen, and paste the line. Mosaic detects it as ProxyRack and saves it as a [provider](https://mosaicbrowser.com/features/proxy-providers) you can reuse.
3. Attach the ProxyRack line to each profile. Mosaic checks the exit it reaches before the browser opens.
4. Press Start. Mosaic checks the proxy before every launch and will not open the browser until ProxyRack has answered and tunnelled, so a dead proxy never leaks your own address.

ProxyRack's line has no session token Mosaic reads, so profiles share its rotation unless you paste one of ProxyRack's own sticky endpoints. If a ProxyRack endpoint stops answering, the launch stops and names what failed, so you fix the line rather than browse on your own IP.

## What you can set per profile with ProxyRack

ProxyRack's line carries the exit country, so those are what Mosaic lets you choose per profile. Pick country in ProxyRack's own words, and the exit matches. A pick ProxyRack has no word for is refused by name, because a token a gateway silently ignores would put the profile somewhere else without telling you. The words Mosaic does not recognise still survive, because the line is copied rather than rebuilt, so an option ProxyRack added that Mosaic has never seen still reaches the exit.

## What Mosaic does with the ProxyRack exit

Once a ProxyRack proxy is checked, Mosaic reads the public address and city it comes out at and matches the profile to it: the timezone, the languages and the geolocation are set from the exit, not from the proxy's label. Mosaic also stops WebRTC from going around the ProxyRack proxy, so a page cannot read your real address that way. The authentication runs through a local relay, so a ProxyRack login works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, including SOCKS5 with a username and password, which Chrome cannot log in to on its own.

## The honest limits

Mosaic does not sell proxies or proxy traffic; the ProxyRack bill is between you and ProxyRack. Mosaic reads ProxyRack's format from the published documentation and has not run it against a live ProxyRack account, so the row shows an untested badge; the format may be out of date if ProxyRack has changed it. Whether to run several accounts on ProxyRack exits is the platform's rule, not ours: Mosaic keeps accounts you are entitled to run apart, and does not change what a site allows.

If you are still choosing a seller, the [proxies worth using with an anti-detect browser](https://mosaicbrowser.com/compare/best-proxies-for-anti-detect-browsers) sets out what to look for, and [rotating against sticky sessions](https://mosaicbrowser.com/guides/rotating-vs-sticky-proxies) explains which kind each job wants. Mosaic Pro is $49 a month for any number of profiles, with the first 14 days free, and [Free holds 3 profiles](https://mosaicbrowser.com/pricing).

## Questions

### Does Mosaic sell ProxyRack proxies?

No. Mosaic reads the gateway line from your own ProxyRack account; you buy the proxies from ProxyRack. Mosaic does not resell proxy traffic.

### Can each profile get its own ProxyRack exit?

Mosaic reads no session token in ProxyRack's line, so it cannot pin one exit per profile from it. Paste a sticky endpoint from ProxyRack if you need an exit to stay put for a profile.

### Can I choose the ProxyRack exit country per profile?

Yes, where ProxyRack's line format has a word for it. Mosaic reads country from the line and lets you set it per profile; a pick ProxyRack cannot spell is refused by name, never dropped.

### Has Mosaic tested ProxyRack?

The ProxyRack format comes from ProxyRack's own documentation, not a live run, so the row carries an untested badge in Mosaic. Mosaic still checks every ProxyRack proxy before a profile opens.
