Identity Desktop and Android profiles

Any desktop OS or an Android phone, from the computer you have

A Mac can make macOS, Windows, Linux and Android profiles, and so can a PC. Your own OS still matches best, so the editor says so before you claim another one.

01 How it works

Desktop and Android profiles, step by step

Any desktop, with a caution

Pick macOS, Windows or Linux. A foreign desktop gets that OS’s own GPU, screen and threads, and the editor warns that fonts and rasterisation still come from this computer.

Android from real phones

An Android profile is built from one captured phone: its screen, touch, hardware and user agent together. It runs as Chromium in device mode on your desktop.

Imports come in whole

A profile imported from another product that claims a different desktop is kept as it is, flagged on the health bar, and one click repairs it to this computer’s OS if you want the closer match.

Limit

No iOS profiles, and an Android profile is not a real phone: there is no app store. A Windows profile made on a Mac matches less well than a macOS one, because the fonts are the Mac’s.
