Proxies Dead-session rotation

A dead proxy session costs a new session, not three retries

A residential pool sometimes hands out a session that reaches nothing, and it stays dead for every attempt on that token. Mosaic mints a different session instead of retrying the same one, and writes the working one back.

3places it happens: launch, provider check, batch create
0sessions moved that you pinned yourself
A proxy provider in Mosaic: one gateway line that mints a separate session for every profile
A provider in the Proxies screen: the line it came from, and the sessions it has minted for profiles.
01 How it works

Dead-session rotation, step by step

Notice the dead session

The check before launch finds that the minted session answers but reaches nothing.

Mint another

Instead of retrying the same token, Mosaic mints a fresh session from the provider and checks that one.

Keep what works

The working session is written back to the profile, so the next launch does not start by failing on a dead one again.

02 Inside it

The smaller things it does

Only what Mosaic minted

A session id you set by hand is refused with a reason rather than moved, because a pinned session is usually pinned for a reason.

Measured, not assumed

On one pool a dead session stayed dead for every attempt on that token while fresh ones answered, which is why retrying is the wrong cure.
