These terms apply when you download or use the Mosaic app, create a Mosaic account, or order Mosaic Pro. You accept them when you create an account or when you order Pro. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data; it is information for you, not something you agree to.

A consumer is a person using Mosaic outside their trade, business or profession; a business customer is anyone else. Some sections apply only to one of them, and say so.

2. The service

Mosaic is a desktop browser for macOS and Windows. It runs on your computer, together with Tesseract Chrome, our own build of the Chromium browser engine. In Mosaic you keep profiles: each profile has its own browser fingerprint, its own proxy and its own cookies and storage, kept apart from your other profiles.

Mosaic is local first. Your profiles and everything in them (fingerprints, cookies, proxies, saved logins and two-factor codes, notes and downloads) are stored on your computer, not by us. We do not hold a copy, and we cannot restore what is lost on your computer. You are responsible for your own backups; Mosaic keeps daily snapshots of its library on your computer to help.

Our servers are used for your account and plan, for downloading the engine and for update checks; the Privacy Policy says exactly what they receive. Proxies are not part of the service: you bring your own from a proxy seller of your choice.

The features of each plan and the supported systems are described where you choose a plan, on our pricing page and in the app.

3. Plans: Free and Pro

  • Free costs nothing. It includes 3 profiles and 10 profile creations, and the other limits shown where you choose a plan and in the app.
  • Pro has everything, with no limits. It costs $49 a month (section 7). There is one Pro plan, billed monthly; there is no yearly plan.
  • Free trial of Pro. While we offer free trials, an order of Pro starts with 14 days of Pro at no charge. The trial's terms, including when the first payment is taken and how to avoid it, are shown at checkout before you start it. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged and your account returns to Free when the trial ends. There is one free trial per person, per computer and per payment card. Checkout does not offer a trial to an account or a computer that has had one. If a trial is started with a card, or on a computer, that has already had one, we end that trial as soon as our server sees it, and the first month is charged at the price shown at checkout, as for an order without a trial; your rights to cancel (section 8) and to withdraw (section 9) are the same as for any order.

Nothing turns into a paid plan by itself: you only pay for Pro if you order it yourself. Some features may be marked as in development or as previews; those may change or be removed, and are never what you pay for.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to use Mosaic. To buy Pro, you must be able to enter into a contract under the law that applies to you. If you order for a business, you confirm you may bind it.
  • Give a correct email address and keep it current: we send sign-in codes, password resets, important notices and billing messages there.
  • One person, one account. An account, and the plan on it, is for one person. Do not share your password, your sign-in codes or a signed-in session with anyone, and do not let anyone else use Mosaic through your account, on your computer or on theirs. The computers your plan allows are for one person's own use, not for spreading one plan across several people. A team, an agency or a family takes one account for each person who uses Mosaic.
  • How we check. To keep the device limit, the one free trial per person and this rule, our server compares the computer ids, card fingerprints, sign-in times and the network and country of the connections an account uses, as the Privacy Policy describes. These signals only tell us which accounts to look at. A person reviews an account before we limit or suspend it for sharing or for taking more than one free trial, and we follow section 16: we tell you what we restrict and why, and you can contest it.
  • Keep your password and your email account safe. Tell us at once at support@mosaicbrowser.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account and in the profiles on your computer.

5. Acceptable use

Mosaic is a general-purpose privacy and multi-account browser. We built it for people who legitimately run more than one account or identity on the web and need them kept apart, and for anyone who wants to browse with more privacy: client accounts at an agency, each with that client's own sign-in; stores and marketplaces you are allowed to operate; ad accounts inside a platform's own business tools; quality assurance and ad verification; separating wallets or research identities; and keeping work, personal and research browsing from being tied together. Mosaic does not change what a website or platform allows. Where a platform permits one account per person, using Mosaic does not give you a second one.

How you use Mosaic is your decision and your responsibility. We do not endorse, encourage or help with unlawful activity, and Mosaic is neither sold nor marketed for it. You alone are responsible for everything you do with Mosaic, for the accounts, data and content inside your profiles, and for obeying every law that applies to you and the terms of every website, platform and proxy seller you use. Because Mosaic runs on your own computer and we never see what is inside your profiles, we cannot watch or control how you use it. That is exactly why these rules, and your responsibility for keeping them, matter.

You must not use Mosaic, and you must not let anyone use it through your account, to:

  • break any law that applies to you, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • commit fraud of any kind, including payment or card fraud, chargeback fraud, bonus, referral or promotion abuse, identity theft, and creating or using fake or stolen identities;
  • launder money, finance terrorism, or handle the proceeds of crime;
  • defeat or get around identity checks, know-your-customer or age checks, payment checks, or phone or email verification;
  • evade a ban, suspension or restriction that a platform imposed for prohibited conduct, or circumvent the enforcement action of any platform, regulator, court or law-enforcement authority;
  • run more accounts on a platform than its terms allow you to;
  • post fake reviews, or manipulate votes, likes, followers, engagement, ratings, polls, airdrops or promotions, including multi-wallet airdrop farming where a project's rules forbid it;
  • buy, sell, rent or trade accounts on other platforms;
  • show an ad platform's reviewers different content from what its users see ("cloaking"), or otherwise deceive an ad or content review;
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or run phishing, social-engineering or other deceptive campaigns;
  • create, store, access or distribute child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexually exploits or endangers a child; or any other content that is illegal where you are, or that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or hatred;
  • harass, stalk, threaten or reveal private information about ("dox") any person;
  • infringe intellectual property — copyright, trademarks, trade secrets or other rights — including piracy, counterfeiting, and selling or promoting counterfeit goods;
  • breach trade-sanctions or export-control law, or use Mosaic in or for the benefit of a person or place subject to comprehensive sanctions (see below);
  • access accounts, systems or data you are not authorized to access;
  • write, store or spread malware; or attack, probe, scrape in breach of a site's terms or the law, disrupt or overload any system, including ours;
  • get around Mosaic's plan limits, its license or account checks, or its security;
  • resell, sublicense or rent out access to Mosaic without our written agreement;
  • create Mosaic accounts by automated means, or several accounts to get around a limit or the one free trial per person;
  • share an account or its sign-in with other people, or use one account for several people (section 4).

By using Mosaic you confirm that you will use it only for lawful purposes and in line with these rules, and that you are entitled to run every account you load into it. Whether a particular use is allowed is often a question of a platform's terms or of the law where you are; where you are not sure, it is your job to check, not ours. Nothing in Mosaic, on our website, or in our support replies is legal advice, or permission to do anything a law or a third party's terms forbid.

Sanctions and export control. You confirm that you are not named on any applicable sanctions list, and that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or using Mosaic for the benefit of any person in a country or territory subject to comprehensive EU, Slovak, United Nations or United States sanctions (at the date of these terms, these include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine). You must not export, re-export or use Mosaic in breach of any such law.

The local REST API and the MCP server let scripts and AI assistants act in your profiles. Anything they do with the access you give them is done by you, under these rules and under each website's terms, and is your responsibility.

If you believe someone is using Mosaic to break these rules or the law, tell us at hello@mosaicbrowser.com with enough detail for us to understand it. We cannot see inside anyone's profiles, but we can act on an account held with us: we may investigate and, where these rules are seriously or repeatedly broken, or the law or an authority requires it, limit, suspend or close that account, as section 16 describes. Serious misuse may also be a crime, and we cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities.

6. Websites, platforms and proxies

Websites and platforms decide for themselves whom to trust and which accounts to allow. Mosaic changes what a website can read about your browser; it cannot and does not guarantee that a profile will go undetected, or that any account will stay open. We describe what Mosaic changes and how, but we do not promise that any website will or will not treat a profile in a particular way, and we do not promise that an account on another service will not be restricted, suspended or closed. Those decisions are the other service's, not ours. Any consequence of using Mosaic in breach of these terms, a platform's terms or the law — including the loss of an account, money or data — is yours.

You must follow the terms of each website, platform and proxy seller you use with Mosaic, and you are responsible for doing so. Your contract with a proxy seller, its terms and its fees are between you and that seller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any website, platform or proxy seller named in Mosaic or on our website; their names belong to their owners and are used only to say what Mosaic works with.

We are not responsible for the actions of other services or their consequences, unless we caused them (for example, through a fault in Mosaic or a breach of these terms). This does not limit any right you have as a consumer, or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude (section 15).

7. Ordering Pro, prices and payment

How ordering works

  1. Signed in to Mosaic, you choose to upgrade to Pro in Settings › Account. The app opens our payment provider's checkout page (Stripe Checkout) in your browser.
  2. The checkout page shows the plan, its price, that it is billed monthly and renews automatically until you cancel, and the terms of any free trial. Until you confirm, you can go back and correct anything, or leave without ordering.
  3. You confirm the order and enter your payment details on the checkout page. By completing the order you accept these terms.
  4. The contract is concluded when the checkout completes and the confirmation page opens. We also confirm the order to your account's email.

The contract is concluded in English (section 20).

Prices and payment

  • Pro costs $49 a month, in US dollars. This is the final price: nothing is added to it. We are a VAT payer in Slovakia (IČ DPH SK2122847859). Includes 23% Slovak VAT. Customers outside the EU, and businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID (reverse charge), pay the same price with no VAT added. For those businesses, the VAT is due from them under the reverse charge. If you buy for one, give us its name, address and VAT ID before you pay, at checkout where it asks or by email to support@mosaicbrowser.com.
  • You pay in advance for each month through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), by card or another method shown on the checkout page. We never see or store your full card details. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee if your card is not in US dollars; that fee is your bank's, not ours.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and we may email you. Pro stays on for up to 3 days after the end of the month you paid for while it does. If the payment still fails, Pro ends and your account returns to Free.
  • Receipts and invoices are sent electronically to your account's email. Each shows the VAT charged, or the reason none is.

When Pro ends

When Pro ends (you cancel, withdraw, a payment fails for good, or a payment is refunded or taken back through your bank), your account returns to Free. Nothing on your computer is deleted. Profiles beyond the Free limits stay on your computer; the Free plan's limits decide which of them it opens, as the app shows. Ordering Pro again lifts the limits.

8. Renewal, cancellation and price changes

  • Pro renews automatically every month until you cancel it. There is no minimum term.
  • You can cancel at any time: in the billing portal, which you open from Settings › Account in the app, or by writing to support@mosaicbrowser.com from your account's email address. A cancellation by email counts from when we receive it, and we confirm it by email.
  • Pro then stays active until the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed. Cancelling during a free trial ends Pro when the trial ends, and nothing is charged.
  • We do not refund the rest of a month, except where the law or these terms require it: after a withdrawal (section 9), a defect we cannot fix (section 14), a change you end the contract over (sections 12 and 19), or the end of the service (section 16).
  • Price changes. We may change the price of Pro only for future months, never for a month you have already paid for, and only for objective reasons: changes in our costs of providing Mosaic (hosting, payment processing, taxes and charges, staff), or new features added to Pro. Any increase is proportionate to those reasons. We tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal it would apply to, giving the current price, the new price, the reason and the date. Business customers: the new price applies from that renewal unless you cancel before it. Consumers: the email tells you how to accept the new price. If you do not accept it before the renewal, your subscription ends at the end of the current month and you are not charged again, with no other consequence. A change in the VAT rate is passed on only to the extent the law requires.

9. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

This section applies to consumers.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day the contract is concluded (section 7).

To withdraw, inform us (Enkova s. r. o., Lehotská 370/22, 972 71 Nováky, Slovakia, support@mosaicbrowser.com, phone +43 688 64676078) of your decision by a clear statement, for example an email or a letter. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. Please send it from, or name, the email address of your Mosaic account, so we can find your order. We confirm your withdrawal by email without delay. It is enough that you send your withdrawal before the period ends.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you under the contract without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise; you will not pay any fees for the refund. Your Pro subscription ends and your account returns to Free. If you withdraw during a free trial, the subscription ends and nothing is charged.

The right of withdrawal is a consumer right. An order placed for a business has no right of withdrawal; it can be canceled as section 8 describes.

10. Your data

Your profiles, what you browse, the files you download and everything else you keep in Mosaic remain yours, and stay on your computer. We claim no rights in them and do not receive them. The Privacy Policy describes the little we do hold: your account, your plan and what you send us.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.

11. Our software

While these terms apply, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Mosaic app and the Tesseract Chrome engine on your own computers, for your own work or your business's, within your plan. You may not copy, extract or redistribute the engine we build, run it outside Mosaic, or get around the checks that tie it to Mosaic, except where a law or an open-source license that covers that part allows it.

Parts of Mosaic, including the Chromium source the engine is built from, are open-source software. Those parts are governed by their own licenses, which these terms do not restrict. Apart from that, Mosaic, its name and its logo belong to us.

12. Availability and changes

Mosaic runs on your computer, and your profiles keep working when our servers do not answer. The app checks your plan with our account server when it starts and every few hours; a paid plan it has confirmed is trusted offline for up to 7 days, and never past the end of the paid month plus 3 days. Signing in, ordering, and downloading the engine need our servers, and we do not promise those will never be interrupted: maintenance, updates and problems at our hosting provider can make them unavailable for a while.

We improve Mosaic over time and supply the updates you need to keep it working and secure. Updates are installed only when you choose to install them. We may change features for good reasons, such as security, new systems, the law, or changes in the browser engine. If a change harms a consumer's use of Pro more than slightly, we tell you in advance by email, and you can end the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change; we then refund the part of the price for the rest of the month within 14 days, to your original payment method.

13. Changes to the Free plan

The Free plan's limits and features may change for objective reasons: the cost of running the service, security, abuse, or the law. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that reduces what Free includes. Nothing on your computer is deleted because of a change. If you do not agree, you can stop using Mosaic and delete your account free of charge. Ending the Free plan entirely follows section 16.

14. Defects and complaints

Consumers: you have the statutory rights for digital content and digital services that do not conform to the contract. We are responsible for any lack of conformity that appears while your subscription runs. You can ask us to bring Mosaic into conformity, and if we do not, cannot, or the defect is serious, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract.

To complain, write to support@mosaicbrowser.com describing the problem. We confirm your complaint, decide on it without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days, and tell you the result.

Business customers: to the extent the law allows, Mosaic is provided as it is and as available, without any warranty beyond these terms — including any implied warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or that Mosaic will be uninterrupted or error-free, or will achieve any particular result such as avoiding detection or keeping an account open.

15. Liability

Consumers: we are liable to you as the law provides. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

Business customers: we are not liable for lost profits, lost data you did not back up, the loss or restriction of accounts on other services, or indirect damage, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to injury to life or health, or where the law does not allow them.

For everyone: we are not responsible for what websites, platforms and proxy sellers do, or for what scripts and AI assistants do in your profiles with the access you gave them, or for how you choose to use Mosaic, except where that damage is caused by our breach of these terms. None of this limits any liability the law does not allow us to exclude.

15a. Indemnity (business customers)

This section applies to business customers, not to consumers. If you use Mosaic for your trade, business or profession, you will defend and indemnify us against any third-party claim, and any fine, loss, cost or reasonable legal expense, arising from your use of Mosaic in breach of these terms or the law — including a claim by a website, platform, proxy seller or other person, or by an authority. We will tell you about such a claim promptly, let you handle its defence where it concerns only you (without settling in a way that admits fault on our part or costs us money without our agreement), and give you reasonable help at your expense. This does not apply to anything caused by our own breach of these terms or our own fault.

16. Ending the contract and deleting your account

  • You can stop using Mosaic at any time. To delete your account, write to support@mosaicbrowser.com from your account's email address. Deleting your account ends a Pro subscription at once, without a refund for the rest of the month you paid for; within 14 days of ordering, withdraw from the contract first (section 9) to get your money back. Your profiles and data on your computer stay there; uninstalling Mosaic and removing its data folder deletes them.
  • We may limit, suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires. This includes an account used by several people, and accounts used to take more than one free trial (section 3 and section 4); for those, we may also end a trial that was not due, or limit the account to one computer. We tell you why in advance, stating what we restrict, the facts and the section of these terms or the law it rests on, unless there is an urgent need to prevent harm. You can contest it by replying to us, and a person looks at it again.
  • We may end the service for everyone with at least 60 days' notice. If we end Pro without any fault of yours, we refund the unused part of the month you paid for.

17. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

For business customers, the courts of the Slovak Republic have exclusive jurisdiction. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

18. Resolving disputes

If something goes wrong, write to support@mosaicbrowser.com first; we want to put it right.

Consumers: if you are not satisfied with how we handled a complaint, or you believe we have breached your rights, you may send us a request for redress. If we reject it or do not answer within 30 days of when you sent it, you may file a proposal for alternative dispute resolution with the Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (Slovak Trade Inspection), Ústredný inšpektorát, Bajkalská 21/A, P.O. BOX 29, 827 99 Bratislava 27, Slovakia, soi.sk, ars@soi.sk, within one year. The procedure is free of charge. You may also go to court.

Our supervisory authority for consumer protection is the Inšpektorát Slovenskej obchodnej inšpekcie pre Trenčiansky kraj, Hurbanova 59, 911 01 Trenčín, Slovakia. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed on July 20, 2025, so we do not link to it.

19. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for these reasons: new or changed features, legal or regulatory changes, a court or authority decision, security, or to make them clearer. Changes to prices follow section 8, and changes to the Free plan follow section 13. We date each version, and give account holders 30 days' notice by email, with the changes described. If you do not agree, you can cancel or delete your account before the date at no cost, and for Pro we refund the unused part of a month you prepaid. The old terms apply until then; if you keep using Mosaic after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. A new account, and every new order, takes the version current at that moment.

20. Final provisions

  • These terms are published in English, and your contract is concluded in English. We keep each version and send it to you again on request.
  • If a provision is invalid, the rest stays in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by the valid one closest to its purpose.
  • You may not transfer this contract without our consent. We may transfer it to a company that takes over Mosaic, if your rights are not reduced; we tell you first.
  • If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
