The free plan of an anti-detect browser is usually the same engine as the paid one, with a limit on how much you can do, not on how well it hides a profile. That holds for Mosaic and for most of the field. So the free-versus-paid question is really: how many profiles do you run, and do you need to automate them?
What free plans give you
Read on 2 November 2026: Multilogin's free plan is 5 cloud profiles, GoLogin's is 3, BitBrowser's is 10 with 50 opens a day, and Nstbrowser's is 500 profiles with 30 launches a day. The shape differs, a profile count here, a daily cap there, but the browser is the full one in each case.
Your profiles, cookies and proxies stay on your computerIn Mosaic: Local first. Profiles, cookies and proxies stay on your computer. Free holds 3 profiles. Pro is $49 a month for any number.

The catch is usually storage, not the engine
Where a free plan pinches is rarely the fingerprint; it is where the profiles live and how many you can keep. A cloud-only free plan, like Multilogin's, holds your profiles on the vendor's servers, which is fine for a trial and worth thinking about before you build a year of accounts on it. A daily open or launch cap, like BitBrowser's or Nstbrowser's, limits how hard you work rather than how many you keep. Read the specific limit before you commit, because moving a library off a free plan later is more work than picking the right one now.
What paid adds
More profiles, almost always. Sometimes cloud sync, team seats, or an API. On Mosaic the paid plan adds exactly two things beyond a higher count: the REST API and the MCP server. The engine, the fingerprints, the proxy providers and the cookie jars are all on Free.
Mosaic free and paid
Free is 3 live profiles and 10 profile creations in all, no card, the full engine. Pro is $49 a month, unlimited profiles and projects, the API and MCP, and profiles that open offline for up to a day; the first 14 days are free. The difference is limits and automation, never a crippled browser.
