We make Mosaic, which is neither of these. The figures are from GoLogin's and Octo Browser's own pricing pages, read on 2 November 2026; we tried to be fair to both, and corrections go to hello@mosaicbrowser.com.
GoLogin vs Octo Browser is a choice between two cloud products. Octo's pricing page says profile data "is encrypted in the Octo cloud storage and can be accessed on multiple devices", and GoLogin's says its profiles "can run from any platform or regular browser". So the choice is less about where your profiles live and more about the bill, the API and how a team is organised. GoLogin prices in US dollars. Octo prices in euros, and its page says the prices exclude VAT.

Where GoLogin is the stronger pick
The bill. GoLogin's first paid plan is $9 for 10 profiles against Octo's €29 for 30, and at the top of the printed ladders GoLogin's 1,000 profiles cost $179 against €329 for Octo's Advanced. Paid yearly, GoLogin halves every price, while Octo's best prepay discount is 30% for 12 months.
Trying it first. GoLogin has a free plan of 3 profiles with everything except sharing and team members, and a 7-day trial. Octo's pricing page lists neither; Lite at €10 a month for 3 profiles is the smallest way in.
The API. GoLogin includes a REST API on every paid plan, starting with the $9 one, at 300 to 1,200 requests a minute. Octo starts the API at Base, €79 for 200 profiles, at 50 requests a minute, rising to 100 on Team and 200 on Advanced. For a solo user who scripts, that difference is most of the comparison, because Octo's cheapest API costs €79 a month and GoLogin's costs $9.
Profiles away from the desk. Cloud launches run 1 to 4 profiles in GoLogin's cloud, and the cloud browser needs nothing installed. There is an Android app.
Where Octo Browser is the stronger pick
Team structure. Octo's ladder is written around teams: Team holds 600 profiles and 6 members for €169, Advanced has unlimited members, and the comparison table lists roles, profile transfer, profile templates and exporting profiles to another user. Its FAQ also says one account can run on 2 or 3 devices at the same time.
Growing in steps. Octo's page lists additional profiles you can add to a subscription rather than moving plan, from up to 20 more on Starter to almost 99,000 more on Advanced.
Proxies from the same vendor. Octo has a proxy shop inside the app selling residential and mobile proxies, with volume discounts. GoLogin's plan cards list some residential proxy traffic, but no shop.
Which to pick
Pick GoLogin if you work alone or in a small group, if you want a free plan or a trial before paying, if you script against the API on a small plan, or if you will pay yearly. Pick Octo Browser if a team of up to six shares the work, or more on Advanced, if you want to buy proxies where you run profiles, or if you prefer adding profiles to a plan over changing plans. For each against other rivals, see GoLogin vs Dolphin Anty and Octo Browser alternatives.
Use either for accounts you are entitled to run. Neither changes what a platform's terms allow.
If neither fits

Both products keep your profiles in their cloud. Mosaic, which we make, keeps them only on your computer: no cloud copy, no team and no access from a second machine. Pro is $49 a month with no per-profile metering and includes the API. Its import reads both GoLogin and Octo Browser exports. The wider field, scored on one set of criteria, is in the best anti-detect browsers.
