We make Mosaic, one of the Octo Browser alternatives here. We tried to be fair; corrections to hello@mosaicbrowser.com.

Octo Browser's pricing page is precise, and three lines on it shape who leaves. The ladder starts at Lite, €10 a month for 3 profiles, then Starter €29 for 30, Base €79 for 200, Team €169 for 600 profiles and 6 members, and Advanced €329. API access begins at Base, so automating anything costs at least €79 a month. And the page says profile data "is encrypted in the Octo cloud storage and can be accessed on multiple devices", which is a feature for a team and the reason some solo users look elsewhere.

There is also a discount worth knowing before you go. On 2 November 2026 the page offered new users 50% off a subscription of 3 months or more, with the code OCTO50, for accounts created by 30 November. Prepaying 3, 6 or 12 months otherwise takes 10%, 20% or 30% off.

What to weigh before switching from Octo

Price the whole bill at your profile count, not the entry tier. Octo's €10 buys 3 profiles; Dolphin{anty}'s cheapest plan is $10 for 20. The ranking flips again at a few hundred profiles, and again if you need the API.

Decide where the profiles should live. Octo stores them in its cloud. Some alternatives give you the choice, and one keeps them only on your machine.

Count the people. Octo's Team plan is 6 members. If you are one person, you are paying for structure you do not use.

And check what you would lose. Octo sells residential and mobile proxies inside the app, lists profile templates, and has mobile apps for iOS and Android.

How it works: Provider minting

Dolphin{anty}

For a team that wants Octo's structure at different steps. Dolphin{anty} runs Starter $10 for 20 to 60 profiles, Base $89 for 100, Team $159 for 300 and Enterprise from $299 for 1,000. Roles are Admin, Team Lead and User, extra users are $10 to $25 a month each, and the API (1,500 requests a minute) comes with every paid plan. It lists both cloud and local sync, a scenario builder and a synchronizer.

GoLogin

GoLogin is the cheap way in for one person: $9 a month for 10 profiles, or $4.50 billed yearly, with the REST API on every paid plan. Business is $99 for 300 or 500 profiles. Like Octo, it is cloud-first, with cloud launches and an Android app. Free is 3 profiles.

Incogniton

Incogniton suits someone who wants to try before paying: its free starter package is 10 profiles for 2 months with no card, then 3. Starter Plus is $19.99 for 10 profiles, Entrepreneur $29.99 for 50 with the API and Selenium and Puppeteer, Professional $79.99 for 150 with 3 team seats. Every plan lists free built-in proxies, and the page lists a proxy shop and cloud phones as well.

Linken Sphere

Linken Sphere is the alternative that asks you where to keep things: its home page offers cloud sync for a team or local storage. Free is 5 sessions with no time limit. Pure is $24 a month for 30 with cloud sync and warm-up, Light $72 for 150 with a mobile emulator, Pro $128 for 500 with 10 team members and a local API, and Premium $240 for 1,000. Six months take 10% off, a year 20%. It ships for Windows and for Intel and ARM Macs.

Kameleo

Kameleo prices by browsers open at once, not profiles kept, and puts its local API on the free plan. Free is 2 concurrent browsers, Startup €59 a month for 10, Business €299 for 100. It runs headless, has Docker images for Linux and Windows, SDKs for Python, JavaScript and C#, and emulates Android and iOS mobile browsers. Pick it when the work is scripts rather than hands.

Mosaic

Ours, so read it knowing that. Mosaic keeps profiles, cookies and proxies on your computer and has no cloud copy of them. The store and cookie jars are encrypted on disk, and with app lock on nothing decrypts without your password. That is the opposite of Octo's model, on purpose.

Mosaic security settings: encryption on disk and an optional app lock
Settings › Security: what is encrypted, and the app lock
A proxy check result in Mosaic: latency, exit address, ISP, HTTPS tunnelling and reputation
A proxy is checked, and its exit scored, before a profile opens

Mosaic does not sell proxies. Instead it reads your seller's line: paste one gateway line as a provider and each profile mints its own session, so no two profiles share an exit. A profile does not open behind a proxy that has not answered and tunnelled, and the refusal says which one failed. Each profile runs in Tesseract Chrome, our own Chromium, with fingerprint values changed in C++ and timezone and language following the measured exit.

What Mosaic does not have: team members, cloud profiles, an app to manage profiles from a phone, or iOS profiles. It runs profiles on Apple silicon Macs today, and a Mac can make Windows profiles with a caution in the editor, because fonts and rasterisation come from the Mac and a Windows claim matches less well than a macOS one (the best anti-detect browser for Mac has the measurements). Free is 3 profiles and 10 profile creations. Pro is $49 a month, one plan, everything unlimited, with the REST API and MCP server included.

Moving from Octo Browser

Mosaic's import recognises an Octo Browser export from what is inside it, not from the file name. It brings over each profile's name, its description as the note, the proxy, start pages, tags, and the platform, User-Agent, timezone, language, screen, cores and memory Octo recorded. What Octo did not record is drawn fresh for each profile. Octo's canvas and audio modes, team assignment and extension list do not mean anything in our engine, so the report names them as dropped. Cookies are not read from an Octo export, so import each profile's jar afterwards as JSON or Netscape cookies.txt. Each profile arrives tagged "Octo Browser".

Which one, then

A team that likes Octo's roles should price Dolphin{anty} and Linken Sphere against its own count. One person wanting a cheap cloud start should look at GoLogin; one wanting a long free trial, Incogniton. Kameleo is for automation on servers. Mosaic is for one person who wants the library on their own Mac and no per-profile tiers. Dolphin Anty alternatives and the best anti-detect browsers cover the same field from other directions.

Use any of them for accounts you are allowed to run. Mosaic's plan and 14-day trial are on the pricing page.
