We make Mosaic, which is neither of these. The figures are from Octo Browser's and Dolphin Anty's own pricing pages, read on 2 November 2026. We tried to be fair to both; corrections go to hello@mosaicbrowser.com.
Both vendors have written their own "Octo Browser vs Dolphin Anty" article, and each one wins its own. We read the two pricing pages instead, because what each plan holds is printed there and can be checked. Dolphin prices in US dollars (it also offers euros, roubles and reais). Octo prices in euros and says its prices exclude VAT. Dolphin is cheaper to start and puts its automation on every paid plan. Octo puts more profiles into each plan once you pass about 200, and builds its ladder around teams.

Price per profile, by size
Below 100 profiles Dolphin is much cheaper. Its Starter plan is $10 for 20 profiles and slides up to 60. Octo's Lite is €10 for 3 and its Starter €29 for 30. If you are trying this kind of browser for the first time, Dolphin's free plan of up to 3 profiles costs nothing, and Octo has no free way in at all.
The picture turns at about 200. Octo's Base holds 200 profiles for €79, where Dolphin's Base holds 100 for $89. Octo's Team holds 600 for €169 and Dolphin's Team 300 for $159. At those two steps Octo gives you roughly twice the profiles for a similar figure, before the exchange rate and VAT.
At the very top, Dolphin's Enterprise starts at $299 for 1,000 and slides to 50,000. Octo's Advanced is €329 for up to 100,000, though the features table lower on the same page prints different profile counts for every plan (1,200 for Advanced), so confirm what €329 buys before you plan around it.
Prepaying favours Dolphin for a full year (40% off against Octo's 30%) and Octo for short terms, since Octo discounts 3 months by 10% and Dolphin discounts nothing under 6. Octo also had a promotion running when we read its page: 50% off a subscription of 3 months or more for new users who sign up by 30 November 2026.
Where Dolphin Anty is the stronger pick
Automation on a small budget. Every paid Dolphin plan, the $10 one included, has a local and remote API at 1,500 requests a minute, with Selenium, Puppeteer and Playwright listed, plus a scenario builder for people who do not write code and a synchronizer that repeats one profile's actions in others. Octo's API starts at Base, €79, at 50 requests a minute.
Engine choice. Dolphin's plan table lists a Chrome or Firefox engine on every plan. Octo's pricing page does not name an engine.
Profiles on your own machine. Dolphin lists local sync on every plan, the free one included, and cloud sync on paid plans. Octo's page describes profile data held in Octo's cloud storage.
Where Octo Browser is the stronger pick
More profiles for the money from 200 up, as above, and the option to add profiles to a plan rather than move up. Dolphin's Base and Team cards both say "Additional profiles cannot be purchased", so going from 100 to 150 profiles there means paying for 300.
Teams with members included. Octo's Team plan includes 6 members and Advanced an unlimited number, and its FAQ says one account can be used on 2 or 3 devices at once. Dolphin includes 1 user on every plan and charges $10, $20 or $25 a month for each extra one, by plan, though its role system (Admin, Team Lead and User) and sharing of proxies, folders, scenarios and start pages are listed in detail.
Proxies from the same vendor. Octo sells residential and mobile proxies inside the app, with volume discounts. Dolphin lists integrations with proxy providers rather than a shop.
Which to pick
Pick Dolphin Anty if you have fewer than 100 profiles, if you automate with scripts or its scenario builder, or if you want to start free. Pick Octo Browser if you run a few hundred profiles or more, if several people share the work and you do not want to pay per seat, or if you want to buy proxies where you run profiles. Each against a third rival: GoLogin vs Octo Browser and AdsPower vs Dolphin Anty.
Run only accounts you are entitled to run. Neither browser changes what a platform's terms allow.
If neither fits

Mosaic, which we make, has no team features and no cloud copy. Every profile stays on your computer, filed into projects and tags, and Pro is $49 a month with no per-profile metering. The local REST API and MCP server come with Pro; there is no scenario builder. Its import reads Octo Browser and Dolphin Anty exports. How the wider field compares on one set of criteria is in the best anti-detect browsers.
