A trial and a free plan answer different questions

A trial lets you run the full paid product for a week or two, which is the right test when you want to see whether the automation or the scale holds up before you commit. A free plan is the right fit when you have a few accounts for good and do not want a clock. The two often get confused because a product has one or the other, and a "7-day trial" of a cloud product can expire with your profiles still on its servers.
