We make Mosaic, the local-first anti-detect browser. We tried to be fair about the prices below; corrections to hello@mosaicbrowser.com.

Octo Browser prices by how many profiles you keep, so the bill grows with the library. Mosaic Pro is one price, $49 a month, for any number of profiles. Here is what each costs, read on 2 November 2026.

The prices side by side

Octo Browser planPrice (EUR, monthly)
Lite (3)€10/mo
Starter (30)€29/mo
Base (200)€79/mo

Advanced (100k)€329/mo
Mosaic Pro, any number$49/mo

Figures are EUR, billed monthly, from Octo Browser's pricing page on 2 November 2026; 10 to 30% off on 3, 6 or 12 months. Octo Browser prices in euros by profile count, with no free plan and no trial. Octo Browser's free plan is no free plan. Octo Browser offers a no trial.

Mosaic does not have a tier for ten profiles or a tier for a thousand. Pro is $49 a month and the thousandth profile costs the same as the first, because a profile is a folder on your own computer rather than a row in our cloud. That is cheaper than Octo Browser once the count passes a few hundred, and more expensive at the small end; if you run a handful of profiles, Octo Browser's entry plan or a free plan will cost less than ours.

Paste one gateway line. Every profile mints its own exitIn Mosaic: Provider minting. One gateway line, a separate exit for every profile. Free holds 3 profiles. Pro is $49 a month for any number.

How it works: Provider minting

Where Octo Browser fits better

Octo Browser gives you sharing a logged-in profile with a teammate, and a Linux build. Mosaic has none of those: no team seats, no cloud copy of profiles, and no Firefox engine. Tesseract Chrome, our engine, is built for Apple-silicon Macs so far, with no Windows engine yet. If any of that is a requirement, Octo Browser is the better buy whatever the price.

Where Mosaic is different

Every profile in Mosaic is a fingerprint, a proxy exit and a cookie jar that agree with each other, and all of it stays on your computer. The fingerprint values change in C++ inside the engine rather than in injected JavaScript, so a page reading its own functions finds stock Chrome code. A provider saved from one gateway line mints a separate session per profile, so a cheap proxy plan still gives each account its own exit. If you are moving from Octo Browser, Mosaic reads its export by shape and maps names, notes, proxies, start pages and cookies across.

When to pick which

Pick Octo Browser if you run a small library, need sharing a logged-in profile with a teammate, or want a product on Windows or Linux today. Pick Mosaic if you run hundreds or thousands of profiles alone on a Mac and want one predictable bill. The counts and the full field are in what a cheap anti-detect browser really costs and the browsers with unlimited profiles. Mosaic Pro is $49 a month for any number of profiles, with the first 14 days free; Free holds 3 profiles and 10 profile creations.
