Most anti-detect browsers charge per user as well as per profile. The profile count is the first column on the pricing page, and the second is seats: how many people can sign in to the same library. Some tiers include a few, some charge a monthly add-on for each person beyond them, and some stop counting at a higher tier. Mosaic has no teams, so it has no seats, and we would rather say that in the table than leave the cell empty.
Price per user: what you are paying for
A seat makes sense once you see where the library lives. In a product with team plans, your profiles sit on the vendor's servers. When a colleague opens "Shop - Berlin 01", the vendor has to send them that profile's cookies, storage and fingerprint and check they are allowed to have it. Most team products also keep a record of who opened what. Each extra person adds work to that server and support tickets to that vendor's team.
So a seat is a login to somebody else's copy of your profiles. That is a real service, and charging for it is charging for something real. What it is not is a fee for the browser. A second person on a seat runs the same engine as the first. They are paying for the right to reach a shared library.
Make 500 profiles in one go, then work on all of them at onceIn Mosaic: Bulk actions. 500 profiles per batch; start, edit and type into many. Free holds 3 profiles. Pro is $49 a month for any number.

The shapes a seat price takes
Seat pricing comes in a handful of shapes, and most plans combine two of them. The figures move often enough that we keep them out of this post; the shapes stay put.
| Shape | How it bills | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Seats bundled per tier | Each tier includes a fixed number of people | How many the tier you actually need includes, not the one in the headline |
| Add-on per extra person | A monthly fee for each person beyond the bundle | Whether the add-on price changes with the tier |
| Unlimited seats on higher tiers | Seats stop counting past a certain plan | What that plan costs in profiles you would not otherwise buy |
| Seats on the free plan | A small team can share a small library at no cost | Whether the free profiles cover the work |
| No seats at all (Mosaic) | There is no shared library, so nobody else signs in to it | Whether you need a teammate to open your profiles; if you do, this is not the product |
The add-on is where a quote grows without anyone noticing. A tier with enough profiles for an agency may include one or two seats, and every account manager after that is an extra line. When the add-on price rises with the tier, moving up for more profiles can cost more per person too, so a team of five should price both the tier they need and the one above it.
Seats and profiles are separate meters
A team plan can meter people and profiles independently, and sometimes launches or open browsers as well. We have written about pricing by open browser and pricing by daily launch; a seat is a third axis on the same page. The total for a team is the tier that holds the profiles, plus the people the tier does not include, plus any metered use on top.
None of those meters follow from what a profile costs to run on your own computer. They follow from what it costs the vendor to store and serve it, which is the argument we made in why anti-detect browsers cost what they cost.
Why Mosaic has no seats
Mosaic has no teams. There is no second login into a shared library, no roles, no permissions screen and no way to hand a profile to a colleague. A Mosaic profile is a folder on your disk and a browser process on your CPU, and Mosaic has no cloud copy of your profiles. With no shared copy, there is nothing for a second person to sign in to, and nothing for a seat to meter.
That is a real limit, and it decides the question for some readers. If two people need to open the same logged-in profile from two computers, a product with team sharing does a job we don't, and its seat price is paying for that job. If each person runs their own accounts on their own machine, a seat buys nothing they would use.
What Mosaic does charge is one price. There is a free plan with a small profile limit, and Pro is $49 a month: one plan, everything unlimited, and it does not charge per profile. The limits and the plans side by side are on the pricing page.
