We make Mosaic, which is neither of these. The facts below come from Multilogin's and Octo Browser's own pricing pages, read on 2 November 2026. We tried to be fair to both, and corrections go to hello@mosaicbrowser.com.

Multilogin and Octo Browser are both priced by profile count, and both store profiles in their cloud. Octo's pricing page says profile data "is encrypted in the Octo cloud storage and can be accessed on multiple devices". Multilogin's offers local and cloud browser profiles on paid plans and cloud only on Free. So the decision rests on three things: the bill, whether you need phones as well as browsers, and how your team is organised. One currency note before the table. Multilogin prices in US dollars and says VAT may apply in some countries. Octo prices in euros and its prices exclude VAT.

How it works: Bulk actions

The price at your size

Multilogin is cheaper at almost every size the two pages print. Fifty profiles cost $29 on Multilogin and thirty cost €29 on Octo. A hundred profiles cost $40 on Multilogin, where Octo's next plan up is Base at €79 for 200. At the top, Multilogin's 1,000 profiles are $185 a month against €329 for Octo's Advanced.

There is one place Octo comes out ahead, and one where it looks as if it might. If you need only 3 profiles, Lite is €10, but Multilogin's free plan gives you 5 cloud profiles for nothing, so at that size Octo does not win either. If you need tens of thousands of profiles, Octo's Advanced plan covers up to 100,000 for one price, where Multilogin's printed ladder stops at $900 for 10,000.

Octo also ran a promotion when we read the page: new users who create an account by 30 November 2026 get 50% off any subscription of 3 months or more. The page does not say what a renewal costs after that, so ask before you prepay.

What Multilogin does that Octo does not list

Cloud phones. Multilogin's FAQ calls them Android devices on real smartphone hardware, Android 10 to 16, billed only while they run. Every plan includes minutes: 30 once on Free, 60 to 85 a month on Pro, 150 a month on Business 100. Octo's pricing page has no phone product at all, so if an account lives in a mobile app, this decides it.

Proxy traffic in the plan. Multilogin gives every plan premium proxy traffic, from a one-time 200 MB on Free to 10 GB a month on large Business plans. Octo sells proxies through its shop instead, with discounts of up to 60% by volume.

A free plan. Five cloud profiles with no card and no time limit is a real way to try Multilogin. Octo's smallest way in is paying €10 for Lite.

Warm-up and cookies. Multilogin lists a Cookie Robot that visits sites to build history, and pre-made cookies for new profiles.

What Octo Browser does that Multilogin does not list

Growing without changing plan. Octo sells additional profiles on top of a subscription: up to 20 more on Starter, 100 on Base, 250 on Team and almost 99,000 on Advanced. Multilogin's page sells sizes; to go from 300 to 400 profiles you move to the 500 plan.

A team ladder with fixed numbers. Team includes 6 members and Advanced unlimited ones, and Octo lists profile templates, profile transfer and exporting profiles to another user. Its FAQ says one account can be used on 2 or 3 devices at the same time.

More API headroom at the top. Advanced runs at 200 requests a minute and 3,000 an hour, and can be raised to 1,000 a minute and 50,000 an hour. Multilogin's Business plans have custom limits, which means asking.

Linux. Octo offers a Linux download beside Windows and both kinds of Mac. Multilogin's download page asks you to sign up before it shows anything.

Which to pick

Pick Multilogin if you want to try before paying, if you run between 10 and a few thousand profiles and care about the bill, or if any of your accounts belong on an Android phone. Pick Octo Browser if you grow in small steps and would rather add profiles than change plan, if a team of six fits your work, or if you need a Linux build. Each meets another rival in GoLogin vs Octo Browser and Multilogin vs Dolphin Anty.

Use either only for accounts you are entitled to run. Neither changes what a platform's terms allow.

If neither fits

Saved Mosaic warm-up plans: sites, how many per run and how long on each
Warm-up plans, run in each profile's own browser

Mosaic, which we make, sells no proxies and no phones, and has no team or cloud copy: every profile stays on your computer. Its warm-up robot browses each profile through its own proxy, on plans you can edit, before the profile meets the site that matters. Pro is $49 a month with no per-profile metering, and Mosaic's import reads both Multilogin and Octo Browser exports. The trade against Multilogin in detail is in Mosaic vs Multilogin, and the field on one set of criteria in the best anti-detect browsers.
